the rectangular cross-banded top over a tambour door enclosing a hinged writing surface with six pigeon holes over one long compartment flanked by three graduated crossbanded drawers, above two frieze drawers with similar crossbanding, the slides with two writing slides and two sham drawers, on square tapering legs with brass caps and casters
