A LATE LOUIS XVI ORMOLU-MOUNTED AND MARBLE MANTEL CLOCK

The later circular re-enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic chapters at the quarter-hour within a beaded glazed door, the grey marble case of obelisk form applied with a musical trophy and foliate-cast mounts surrounding a bisquit medallion depicting a male figure in classical dress, the reverse of medallion inscribed in ink 801A, surmounted by a plumed finial, on rectangular white marble plinth with a beaded border and inset with pierced paterae-cast frieze, on round engine-turned tapering feet
