A PAIR OF CONTINENTAL PARCEL-GILT SILVER MOUNTED CUT GLASS WINE JUGS, circa 1880, stamped 800M, each in the Renaissance taste, the urn form body etched with griffins flanking vacant oval linked by flower, the molded circular base and long neck mount with flowers and strapwork on matted ground, the neck also with masks and cartouches, with grotesque mask underspout, with part scale work and foliate multi-scroll handle, the hinged, partly fluted cover topped by openwork scroll finial--14½in.
