A CONTINENTAL SILVER MOUNTED FAYENCE FLAGON, late 17th century, unmarked, the white ovoid body painted in blue with the coat-of-arms of Hamburg, the remainder with scalework or geometric motifs, the domed cover with hexagonal finial, with foliate hinged engraved mount to the loop handle--10½in. (26.6cm.) high
