A GEORGE III SILVER TEA KETTLE ON STAND AND LAMP, maker's mark of Thomas Heming, London, 1788, the bun form kettle finely engraved with armorials, with short swan's neck spout, with pendent trefid join to the part leather covered, shaped swing handle, the detachable low domed cover topped by fluted bone button finial--kettle over handle 10¼in. (26cm.) high, the triangular stand with incurved sides, one engraved with crest and motto (worn), with wavy lower rim, center with detachable cylindrical covered burner, on three oval and scroll supports each issuing C scroll stem to the curved oval support--fully marked--to top of support--4¼in. (10.7cm.), total height 14½in. (73.6cm.), gross weight 46.5oz.
