A GEORGE II SILVER KETTLE ON STAND**, maker's mark of Edward Feline, London, 1738, spherical, with leaf-clad scroll spout and overhead scroll swing handle with leather mount, the hinged cover with ivory disc finial, the shoulder flat-chased with rocaille, the stand on three shell feet with scroll supports and central burner, the side engraved with a coat-of-arms within strapwork cartouche flanked by terms, the burner cover engraved with a crest, marked under base and burner-- 12¾in. (32.4cm.) overall height; gross weight 58.5oz.
