AN ENGLISH PEARLWARE SMALL JUG
CIRCA 1815

With shaped handle, the faceted sides with blue and ochre festoons between moulded bands of berried vine and leaves and a band of stiff leaf tips enriched in ochre and green, 5½in. (14cm.) high; together with an English pearlware small jug, circa 1810, probably Yorkshire, the sides moulded with hounds in landscape beneath a fruiting vine and a rope-twist rim, enriched in yellow, ochre, green and blue, 4¾in. (12.1cm.) high (2)
