Shaped oblong, with ovolo and foliate rim and two panels of frolicking putti, the leaf-clad and rocaille open handles with large cast putti joins, the field engraved with band of ovolo and grapevine, and with the inscription GIVEN IN MEMORY OF Julia Spencer Field BY Spencer Eddy engraved within a rocaille cartouche, marked on reverse
