Lot Essay

The arms are those of Williams quarterly with those of Delalynde. Herring and Argenton and impaling those of Scott, as borne by Charles Montague Williams of Woolland House, Dorset, a banker, who married Anna Maria, daughter of Sir Samuel Scott, 2nd Bt., of Sundridge Park, Kent. Charles Williams died in 1830.
