A FINE GEORGE III SILVER-GILT INKSTAND
MAKER'S MARK OF DIGBY SCOTT & BENJAMIN SMITH, LONDON, 1804

Rectangular, on four paw feet, with two bifurcating snake handles, the three pots each vase-form with acanthus on a matted ground, the fluted removable covers with bud finial surmounting a calyx of acanthus, with three glass inserts with silver-gilt mounts for ink and pounce, fully marked and stamped under base RUNDELL BRIDGE & RUNDELL AURIFICES REGIS LONDINI FECERUNT
