June 14, 1863', contents indicate his desire to trace from which branch of the Beauregard's he is descended, also a gray cover to Calhoun Mills, S.C. postmarked Charleston, S.C. (original stamp lacking and replaced) with an additional 'From Genl. Beauregard' autograph signature at T., cover mend barely affects the first letter of the autograph on the cover, the letter with the other autograph is very fine
