A Paris Street Scene

This pastel dates from the mid 1870s, and is comparable to other works by De Nittis of the period, such as Piazza Assolata (Pinacoteca Communale, Barletta) and Avenue du Bois de Boulogne (Pinacoteca Communale, Barletta).
