With full-plate gilt-finished fusee movement pierced bridge, with tapered pilasters, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, Arabic five minute divisions, the porcelain case with painted scenes in the manner of I. J. Clauce, the reverse with a woman scolding a child with Pierrot standing beside them within a wooded landscape, the bezel with four similarly painted figures in landscapes, the interior with a lover and companion seated beneath a tree within a wide gilt surrounding, contained in an outer shagreen mounted protective case, case, movement signed.
