CIRCA 1815, IRON-RED MARKS TO SOME AND PATTERN NO. 1746

Each piece painted in black with a bird, named on the reverse, in an iron-red landscape and with scattered black and iron-red feathers, within a band of x's and dots and gilt rims, some cracks, some wear, comprising:

Two oval sauce-tureens and covers, one damaged, one with cover cracked, 7¼in. (18.5cm.) wide
Three oval dishes, some staining and cracks, 10 5/8in. (27cm.) wide
A shell-shaped dish, some wear, 9½in. (24cm.) wide
A lozenge-shaped dish, rim chip and crack, 10 7/8in. (27.5cm.) wide
Sixteen plates, some with cracks, 8½in. (21.5cm.) diam. (23)
