The dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with pierced blued steel hands, matted center, winged cherub spandrels, the foliate engraved arch with twin silvered subsidiary rings for strike/silent and chime/change, the massive four-pillar triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and quarter chiming/trip repeat on eight bells via eight hammers and further hour strike on large blued steel gong, the backplate engraved J & H Jump, London with central pendulum holdfast and movement securing brackets to the case, the brass-lined case with foliate handle to the inverted bell top with foliate urn finials, the sides with foliate-cast ormolu sound frets, trailing foliate caryatids to the front angles and on elaborate scrolling foliate feet
