The white enamel dial with Roman chapters with pierced blued steel moon hands, outer concentric calendar ring with sweep blued hand, sweep counterpoised center seconds hand, signed Alexandre à Paris beneath the central pink enamel rosette decorated with gilt foliage and green enamel jewelling, the twin barrel movement with circular plates, pinwheel escapement mounted on the backplate with steel knife edge suspended gridiron pendulum, countwheel strike on bell, the plinth case with milled ormolu band to the stepped top, foliate cast ormolu moldings to the glazed front and side panels, the dial embellished with ribbon-tied ormolu drapes, on a rectangular plinth base with ormolu bun feet
