The silvered dial within a molded ormolu bezel engraved Pons à Paris within an outer seconds ring with counterpoised blued sweep center-seconds hand, eccentric hour and minute chapter ring at XII with gilt-brass moon hands, power reserve indicator between the winding holes calibrated 0-15 days and engraved Reserve de Marche with blued steel pointer, the movement with robust circular plates, twin-going barrels, coup perdu escapement mounted on the backplate with fine adjustment to the crutch to the gridiron pendulum, countwheel strike on bell, the pedestal case with detachable stepped top revealing two brass knobs for the sliding front and rear glasses, the satinwood-inlaid pilasters supported on a stepped and molded base with satinwood block feet
