The convex white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with elaborately pierced and chased ormolu hands, signed in the center Imbert l'ainé AParis, pendulum regulation square at XII, the movement with rectangular plates secured with four back-pinned pillars, later anchor escapement and outside countwheel strike on a bell above, the case surmounted by an urn draped with berried leaf swags, the sides and front cast with a lion's pelt with the lion's head partially covering the pendulum aperture, the base with four pineapple drop finials and a foliate berried terminal
