The 11in. sq. dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, pierced blued steel hands, signed Edw. Speakman, Londini Fecit, the matted center with subsidiary seconds ring, ringed winding holes and decorated calendar aperture, winged cherub-and-foliate spandrels, the five pillar two train movement with anchor escapement and inside countwheel strike on bell, the case with later foliate pierced wood frieze fret to the flat top supported on twist columns, convex throat molding to the rectangular trunk door with oval lenticle, convex base molding to the plinth on bun feet
