A WHITE-GLAZED AND INCISED WATERDROPPER

Modelled in the form of a house with sloped roof and inset straight side walls resting on four round feet barely raised from the square base, the ridged roof, walls and latticed windows rendered by incised lines and the dropper covered overall save the undersides of the four stump feet with a highly glossed white glaze with distinct green tone, pooling in the recessed lines and recesses of the roof, the spout at one corner of the roof and the top of the roof moulded with a sunken square reserve containing a circular aperture--3¼ x 3¼ x 4in. (8.3 x 8.3 x 10.2cm.), spout and corner edges of roof chipped
