Wedding Series 1975
Original art, Al Capp's ode to Roy Lichtenstein. These paintings were rendered in an enlarged scale on canvas as Capp triumphantly crosses into the realm of fine art. They are by far, the largest images Capp produced. Some of these paintings were modeled on actual sequences from the L'il Abner serial, representing Abner and a host of Capp's immortal characters. These paintings were part of an exhibition at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
These two paintings feature Fosdick, Abner, Daisy Mae and Moonbeam.
