Comprising a four-case inro applied with soft-metal figures of Choryo retrieving the shoe from the river for Kosekiko mounted on horseback on a bridge on a lacquer ground of black and gold, fitted with an ivory kagamibuta netsuke fitted with a soft-metal plate and amber ojime; a four-case inro decorated in gold takamaki-e and inlaid mother-of-pearl with tea utensils, inscribed Ryukakei Toji, signed Tsuchida Soetsu, fitted with a kagamibuta netsuke and cloisonné enamel ojime; a five-case inro decorated in gold takamaki-e with plum on a roiro ground, signed Toyo saku, fitted with an ivory gourd-form netsuke; a four-case inro decorated in hiramaki-e, nashiji and togidashi with riverboats and reeds; and a four-case inro decorated in iro-e togdashi with bamboo, fitted with an ivory netsuke--2 3/8 to 3 5/8in.
