Naturalistically modelled with carefully articulated feathers, gilt eyes and shakudo pupils, patina dark brown, both signatures on underside of bird, Maruki seal cast and Mori seal engraved on an inlaid silver plaque; fitted to a tall stand of bronze cast in the form of tree branches--eagle approx. 9in. (22.9cm.) high, stand 32¼in. (81.9cm.) high, end of one feather of eagle chipped
