The inro of rectangular shape decorated with three Noh masks in gold, grey and black applied lacquer on a roiro and okibirame ground, the masks modelled in high relief with tassels lacquered in red, gold and black hiramaki-e, Okina mask on a brocade cloth decorated with swastika mon in aogai, interior cases in fundame; fitted with an ivory ojime modelled as a boy holding a mask, and a wood netsuke carved as a smiling mask--3in.
