Of oval section decorated in gold, silver and red takamaki-e, aogai, and inlaid horn with a falcon on a perch and a mirror on a kinji ground, the reverse with a silver vase holding sprays of cherry blossoms, interior cases in nashiji; fitted with a soft metal ojime with a blooming cherry branch in relief, and a lacquer manju netsuke--3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) high, small nicks, wear to edges
