The inro of oval section with gyobu ground decorated with variously shaped reserves of auspicious symbols illustrated in iro-e togidashi and takamaki-e with birds in flowering branches, cranes, a dragon in clouds, a minogame, chrysanthemums, and bamboo, interior cases in gyobu-nashiji; fitted with a lacquer ojime and a kagamibuta netsuke with a reticulated ivory bowl carved with flowers, and a soft metal plate cast with a bust of Emma-o--4in.
