The inro of oval section decorated in gold and silver takamaki-e, hirame and soft metal inlay with Li Po gazing at a waterfall on the reverse, the figure on horseback together with his boy attendant in a landscape of rocks, pine, and distant peaks, the reverse with a figure (now lost) standing on the bank of a stream, details in kirigane, interior cases gyobu-nashiji; fitted with an ivory ojime carved as Fukurokuju and a crane, and an ivory netsuke carved in the form of a badger--3¾in. (9.5cm.) high, loss of one metal figure
