The slender inro of rectangular form depicting the tips of pine branches poking through shrouds of mist, the ground decorated in nashiji and togidashi imitating cloudy vapors, the pine branches in gold and silver hiramaki-e and with a fan and folded paper laquered in red and gold takamaki-e fitted to the end of one branch, interior cases in nashiji; with a lacquered bead ojime and a wood netsuke carved as a shishi--2 7/8in. (7.4cm.) high
