Of rounded rectangular shape decorated in togidashi, hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, and soft metal inlay with the twelve animals of the zodiac to either bank of a stream, six to each side, details of the landscape embellished in nashiji and kirigane, interior cases nashiji; fitted with a cylindrical silver ojime and an ivory netsuke carved in the form of a bat--3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) high
