Of rectangular shape decorated in takamaki-e with three butterflies, two gold, and one black and silver, set against a bright kinji ground, details in aogai, kirigane and gold foil, interior cases nashiji, rectangular apertures on the sides exposing the cord runners; fitted with a soft metal ojime depicting Fukurokuju and a lacquer box netsuke with a bird wading in a lotus pond in various inlays--2¾in.
