TWO GEORGE III BRASS AND IRON BASKET GRATES,
19th century,
the first, shaped iron fireback flanked by shaped brass supports continuing to a serpentine front grate flanked by brass engraved and beaded outward scrolled supports above a serpentine geometric pierced apron continuing to two square tapering engraved supports surmounted by urn finials with block feet; the second, with shaped and molded fireback flanked by down sloping arms continuing to a front grate surmounted by brass urn finials flanked by down scrolling engraved suppports above a foliate pierced apron continuing to square tapering supports surmounted by brass urn finials, with block feet--23 in. high, 30¼in.wide, 15in.deep; 31in.high, 24in.wide, 13½in.deep (2)
