the complete set of one hundred twenty-seven unsigned lithographs in sanguine, including two for the cover, and one unsigned lithograph in black, in- and hors-texte, title, text and justification, on Arches, plus the additional suite of eight initialled lithographs in sanguine, on Japan, signed by the artist and publisher on the justification, copy 38 of 50 (copies 1-20 with an additional suite of the twenty lithographs; copies 21-50 as here; copies 51-250 lacking the suites), the full sheets, loose, occasional pale scattered foxing and offsetting, otherwise in very good condition, original wove paper wrappers, paper-covered boards with purple suede spine and paper-covered slipcase (minor soiling and wear). 402 x 303mm.
