With mounted statement on pastedown which mentions, of the 600 copies printed "only three hundred sets of the illustrations were complete, so that there remain three hundred copies of the book lacking one or more illustrations, of which this is a copy. The text is perfect." This copy, however, contains all 10 illustrations listed on the contents page, and therefore presumably belongs to the 300 which are complete. It was for this work that Frederick W. Goudy designed his Kennerley Type.
