04 DEPRESSION SCRIP Note: In early 1935 Mr. W.H. Cathcart of the Western Reserve Historical Society requested samples of recently issued scrip of various private and municipal issuers. Some examples in this section are sold with their original acquisition letters. Many of these issues are now very rare. The fascinating letters included in some of these lots often contain information regarding use, size of issue and special circumstances particular to the issue.
