LATIN AMERICAN BANK NOTES FROM THE PERKINS BACON ARCHIVES
A Note on Condition
We are delighted to be able to offer a selection of Proofs from the Latin American portion of the Perkins Bacon Archives. The pieces offered here are uniface unless otherwise noted. Some are on India paper, some on India paper mounted on card and some are printed directly on card. Most have been stamped "SPECIMEN" in back on their faces. They are occasionally punch-cancelled. Condition varies considerably - many pieces have suffered water damage and many have ragged edges, bent corners and other faults. Nevertheless there are enough unique and previously unknown notes in this offering to intrigue any collector. Please note that, in this section the object counts shown in parentheses refer to the number of notes in the lot regardless of whether the notes are offered singly or in two-subject sheets.
