FOREIGN COINS A HOARD OF "ATOCHA" SILVER The following lots contain over 450 silver cobs recovered by Mel Fisher's "Treasure Salvors Inc" from the wreck of the Spanish galleon Nuestra Senora de Atocha during the 1980s. All the coins, which were originally recovered in encrusted clumps, have been cleaned. Most bear the Potosi mintmark and were struck during the reign of Phillip III of Spain.
