FIRST AMERICAN EDITION, WITH A 9-LINE HOLOGRAPH POEM SIGNED BY WILDE on the front flyleaf, entitled "Impression," which reads: "Impression. The muffled steersman at the wheel seems but a shadow in the gloom, and in the throbbing Engine room Leap the long rods of polished steel. Oscar Wilde." Dated "March 12 '82" on opposite page.
