Avian features carved in high relief, eyebrows curving downward into a scroll motif, applied tubular eyes set in circular eye orb, protruding hooked beak, neck extending downward with three parallel linear indentations, two holes pierced below the beak, and on the crown two identical ravens, carved in low relief, with almond shaped eyes, circular pupils, and projecting beaks, details painted in brown, white, red and yellow, distinct adze markings in the interior

Such masks were worn at life passage ceremonies and represent spirits of great creative power. The imagery of individual masks represents specific family traditions and may include such animals as ravens (as represented by the two heads at the top), snakes, ducks and spring salmon (see Brown, 1995, p. 290)."
