A KWAKIUTL WEATHER HEADDRESS
Of a mosquito and rectangular form, carved in low relief, ovoid pupils set in incised almond shaped eyes, in a rectangular concave eye orbs, carved separately and attached with two wood pegs, a projecting beak with extended tongue, mouth with downturned lips, the bottom carved separately and attached with nails, details painted in gray, green, black and red, surface in gray with green eye sockets and red tongue
