This is probably Langham Mill Pond. In his autobiography, Munnings wrote about the country around Dedham. "We found it beautiful, unsploit, as in the days of Constable...From 1919 to 1935 I used to paint there, bathe there, row there in a boat, walk there, ride there. To know that it was three miles away gave me a distinct happiness. No pen could desribe what has happened to that Arcadia." (A. J. Munnings, An Artists Life, Bungay, 1950, p. 120.
