A NAPLES CYLINDRICAL CUP AND SAUCER
CIRCA 1775, BLUE CROWNED N MARKS

The cup painted in colours with figures walking near a farm and Vesuvius spouting in the distance, the saucer with figures dancing beside the sea near a battlement with mountains and a volcano in the background, within a band of gilt arches and gilt line rims, slight wear to saucer; together with a Vinovo armorial saucer, circa 1780, blue V and cross mark, finely painted in puce, yellow, green and blue with an oval coat-of-arms beneath a crown, flanked by foliage and scroll brackets and two recumbent spotted lions, within a gilt border (3)
