A GEORGE V SILVER SIX PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE ON TRAY, maker's mark of Crichton Bros., London, 1924, comprising teapot, coffee pot, hot-water jug, two-handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each in the George II, Lamerie style, each urn form with incurved corners, on molded base, the shoulder, collar and spout flat chased with running foliage on matted ground, shell corners, initialled B, with bellflower swags, the collar with trelliswork, vacant cartouches, the pots with wood scroll handle, the hinged plain raised cover with wood oblong finial--the coffee pot 8½in. (21.5cm.) high, the initialled conforming salver with notched corners on four bracket feet--length over handles 26¼in. (66.6cm.) 310oz. (7)
