A GEORGE V FOUR PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE ON TWO-HANDLED TRAY, maker's mark of Mappin & Webb, Sheffield, 1935, also struck with Jubilee mark, comprising teapot, coffee pot, two-handled sugar basin and cream jug, each octagonal vase form, on molded base, the shoulder with alternate panels of foliate shell within trelliswork and foliate sprig, the pots with panelled long scroll spout, angular wood handle, the hinged domed part engraved cover topped by urn finial--the coffee pot 10in. (25.4cm.) high, the notched cornered rectangular tray engraved with conforming arabesque band, with molded border and two shaped loop handles--length over handles 28¾in. (73cm.), gross weight 195oz.
