A SILVER-PLATED TWO-HANDLED TEA-URN AND TWO DISH COVERS, the tea urn probably English, circa 1825, the globular body on domed canted cornered square pedestal base raised on four volute supports, with part foliate spout topped by bone anthemion handle, engraved with coat of arms, crest and motto, the two tendril handles with elaborate acorn joins, with elaborate applied rocaille moldings, the detachable molded low domed cover topped by beaded cluster button finial, inset with covered pig compartment--16in. (40.6cm.) high, the first cover oblong, with elaborate ring handle--14in.
