A WILLIAM IV SILVER COFFEE POT, maker's mark of Thomas Satchwell, London, 1825, in the Rococo style, baluster, on short part rocaille cast base, the sides chased with lush broad frieze of floral sprays, rocaille scrolls, and scalework, on matted ground, twice centering asymmetrical cartouche, one crest, one with with coat-of-arms and motto, with elaborate floral and foliate high cast spout, with decorated shoulder, high arched wood scroll handle, the hinged flat topped molded raised and decorated cover topped by fluted acorn finial--10in. (25.4cm.) high, gross weight 33oz.
