The teapot with maker's marks of Hayne & Cater, 1848
Of baluster form on incurved-hexagonal foot, the body with circular panels engraved with Chinoiserie scenes and a presentation inscription, the domed cover similarly engarved and with beaded baluster finial; the matching two handled sugar basin and cream jug both Brimingham, 1926
