An early Victorian brass-bound rosewood dressing case
of oblong form, fitted with nine various silver-mounted toilet jars and bottles and a shaving brush in cylindrical case, each piece engraved with a crest, some of the jar lids also engraved with flowers, foliage and C-scrolls, the dressing case with drawer lacking fittings and with Bramah lock, the cover with a brass cartouche engraved with initials, the fittings London 1841 - length of dressing case 10½in. (26.75cm.)
