of oval form, one a plain example on fluted curved supports with shell toes and with a reeded rim and plain ground, Peter, Ann & William Bateman, London 1801 - 6¾in. (17cm.), the other example bright-cut and engraved with a monogram, maker's mark indistinct, London 1786 - 6½in. (16.50cm.) (2)
