A mid 18th Century Irish cup
on a rising circular foot and with a moulded body band and rim and two leaf-capped double scroll handles, the inverted bell-shaped body engraved with an armorial surrounded by rococo flowers and foliage, the other side engraved with a crest, incompletely marked, probably William Townsend, Dublin circa 1740 - 7in. (17.75cm.), 31.50oz.
