A continental gold and enamel heart-shaped watch, early 19th Century,
white enamel dial with arabic numerals, eccentric winding hole and signed Breguet, a Paris, similarly signed fusee movement numbered 3686, with verge escapement, pierced continental balance bridge, heart shaped case outlined with seed pearls and decorated with blue enamel and floral foils, the back cover with a scene en grisaille of a child with a dog and a bird within a yellow enamel border, 48mm. across.
